1. My daughter recently completed the 5-day intensive Spanish program with La Paz Spanish School in Xela, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment she arrived, she was welcomed like family — the staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping students learn and feel at home. The one-on-one lessons were engaging, well-structured, and tailored perfectly to her level and learning style. Her confidence in speaking Spanish grew so much in just one week! The teachers made the learning process fun and interactive, blending grammar, conversation, and cultural immersion seamlessly. The homestay experience was equally wonderful — her host family was warm, attentive, and made her feel completely at ease. She was able to practice her Spanish every day in an authentic, caring environment, while also enjoying delicious home-cooked Guatemalan meals. La Paz truly lives up to its name — it’s a peaceful, welcoming place to learn and connect.
