At La Paz Spanish School, we offer programs tailored to different learning goals and schedules. Each package is designed to ensure real progress in Spanish, with the choice of living with a host family or without a host family
Whichever option you choose, upon completion you will receive a diploma of participation, signed and sealed by the School’s Board of Directors.
La Paz Spanish School is duly authorized by the Ministry of Education of Guatemala (MINEDUC) to provide quality academic programs in accordance with national educational regulations.
We are also accredited and registered with the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT), ensuring that our programs meet the standards required to host both national and international students, while promoting culture and educational tourism in Guatemala.

$120.00 / 5 days a weekAt La Paz Spanish School, we offer a volunteer program for students during their stay in Xela. This program involves supporting a local “jardín de niños” a preschool for children aged 3 to 6 where they receive care, early education, playtime, and lots of love. After their Spanish classes, students can volunteer by helping with reading, educational games, arts and crafts, emotional support, and reinforcing basic skills..
If volunteers wish to continue their support even after returning to their home country, there are many meaningful ways to stay involved. They can send educational materials, books, learning games, or letters to the children. They can also help promote the project to raise awareness or encourage donations. In some cases, virtual follow-up or remote involvement may also be possible
